And the backup files is: Backup-(yyyy-mm-dd).bbb, LoaderBackup-(yyyy-mm-dd).bbb, AutoBackup-(yyyy-mm-dd).bbb or Backup-(yyyy-mm-dd).ipd, LoaderBackup-(yyyy-mm-dd).ipd , AutoBackup-(yyyy-mm-dd).ipd
Note: YYYY-MM-DD represents the date the backup file was created in Year-Month-Date format.
On Mac computer:
In the Applications folder of the Mac computer, click BlackBerry Desktop Software.
Click on Back Up icon at the top of the screen.
Perform one of the following actions:
To back up all data on the BlackBerry smartphone, click All data.
To back up specific data, click Selected data and select the check box beside one or more databases.
Note: By default, backup files are saved on the Mac computer to /Users/[username]/Documents/BlackBerry Backups.
